I have been a Professional Photographer for 8 years now! Connecticut is where I grew up and I have a degree in Fine Art from my The University of Connecticut. I have worked for various studios in Connecticut & Boston, photographed hundreds (yes hundreds) of Weddings, and countless families, engagements, newborns, boudoir, events, headshots, and Products/Food. You may have met me as a friendly face at Brian Ambrose Photography, Boston Portrait Company, or Fredriksen Photography or maybe even way back to when I was a little high school girl at Mariella Creations. Yes I started out in the Wedding industry TWELVE years ago selling wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, special occasion gowns, mother of dresses, and even working in Alterations. OR maybe you are new to meeting me – in which case HELLO!
I have always had in interest in fashion & fairytales so it is no wonder that I have spent most of my career photographing Weddings! I mean one of the happiest days in a couples life? Love just overflowing from everyone? The carefully curated Bridal look? Perfectly planned every important detail? Certainly my happy place! I just love to get to know my Brides & Grooms on a personal level and emphasize each unique love story, specifics of the Wedding & Wedding Day, sweet & fleeting moments, every important detail with my photographs while keeping in mind the Elements of Art & Principles of Design as well as Composition in mind.
The overall goal of all of my photographs is to make people feel good! All while creating pretty imagery!
In the recent years I have returned to my Fine Art background and created a space on my website for selling my Fine Art Photographs alongside my photography services!In these images I focus on small moments that evoke happiness. My images with a Coastal & Nautical Feel and showcase the uniqueness of New England & its Four distinct Seasons. Residing in Boston for over four years now there is a lot from the greater Boston area while mixing in some travel & vacation shots! I often spend my time in Florida as I have family in various places throughout the state. Due to the inherently Coastal/Nautical feel of the Sunshine state you will see a lot of Florida imagery!
